Fore: Coming back home

Golf on Brioni was fading off with the Second World War coming. Toghether with the bella vita and all joys of life present on the archipelago in the 1920s and 1930s.

That end of that august 1939 the atmosphere must have been heavy. I imagine leaving this heaven, for every each of the players with their personal inner cry…with hope and a dream and deep inside promising to themself: „One day, I shall return here…“.
