Welcome to Veruda Penthouse! We hope your stay will be a wonderful experience. Please take a moment to read through our house rules, and don’t hesitate to reach out to your host with any questions. By checking in, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms.
Guests are responsible for their conduct within the apartment and its surroundings. Smoking and pets are not permitted on the premises. Non-compliance with house rules may result in the termination of your stay.
1. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Upon arrival, guests are kindly asked to provide a valid ID or passport for official tourist registration through the eVisitor system, as required by Croatian law.
The apartment is available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 AM on the day of departure, allowing time for preparation for the next guests. Staying beyond 10:00 AM may result in an additional charge.
Early check-in may be possible if the apartment is available and ready. Please contact the host the day before your arrival to confirm.
2. PAYMENT
Full payment is due in advance unless otherwise stated in your reservation. Should you choose to depart earlier than planned, the full amount for the reserved period remains due. In the event that accommodation is terminated due to a breach of house rules, the total reservation amount is likewise non-refundable.
3. PRIVACY
Your privacy is important to us. The host will not enter the apartment or handle any personal belongings without prior notice and your consent. In exceptional circumstances — such as a concern for safety or a suspected breach of house rules — the host may enter in the guest’s absence and will inform you at the earliest opportunity.
4. HOST AVAILABILITY
Your host is happy to assist you throughout your stay with any questions, recommendations, or practical matters.
5. GUEST SAFETY
While the host cannot be held liable for personal belongings, every reasonable effort will be made to ensure your safety and to alert you to any potential risks.
6. ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES & HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
For the safety of all guests, flammable, explosive, or strongly odorous materials are not permitted in the apartment. Personal electrical appliances may only be brought in with prior approval from the host. Please note that electricity usage for such appliances is not included in the accommodation price and will be charged additionally based on estimated consumption.
7. QUIET HOURS
To ensure a peaceful experience for everyone, we kindly ask that you observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM. This allows the host, neighbors, and fellow guests to rest undisturbed. Thank you for your consideration.
8. CARE OF THE APARTMENT
Please treat the apartment with care and use energy mindfully. Any damage, malfunction, or issue with the inventory or installations should be reported to the host as soon as possible.
9. REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY
The apartment is reserved exclusively for registered guests. Visitors who are not listed in the reservation are not permitted to stay overnight. The presence of unregistered persons may result in the immediate termination of accommodation.
10. DAMAGES
Guests will be held responsible for any loss, intentional damage, or damage caused by negligence to the apartment’s furnishings, installations, or inventory.
11. CLEANLINESS
We kindly ask that you maintain a reasonable level of tidiness throughout your stay.
12. BREACH OF RULES
Guests who seriously breach these house rules or disturb the peace of the property and its neighbors will be asked to vacate the premises.
13. DISPUTES
By checking in, guests confirm acceptance of all terms outlined in these house rules. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably with the host will be referred to the relevant authorities or addressed through legal proceedings before the Court of Pula. Please note that complaints can only be considered if raised during the stay — subsequent complaints will not be taken into account.
